“The DeMoulin Museum is a ‘one of a kind’ experience. I bring several adult groups from St. Louis each year, and they love it. John is the perfect host/docent as he exhibits each device. With his poised demeanor, he cracks everyone up. This is one memorable place that you’ll never forget!” — Linda Koenig / Gateway Tours

Is your question about Fraternal, Societal, or Ceremonial Swords? Any of such swords found with a DeMoulin Bros factory label or mark were, in fact, NOT manufactured by DeMoulin Bros; the company merely re-sold them. We at the DeMoulin Museum are not experts in the field of fraternal or ceremonial swords, so for information regarding the features, usages, or value of such items, please contact an arms expert or the organization with which the sword is associated. Thank you!

“The Masonic Library and Museum Association held its 2018 annual meeting at the DeMoulin Museum. The members in attendance were surprised and excited to see the variety of its holdings since its focus is on the products of a single company — the DeMoulin Bros. & Co. Therefore, the collection has many unique items such as trick chairs, a guillotine, and (of course) those famous goats. We enjoyed the opportunity to test some of them, including the lifting and spanking machine, and to have a demonstration of the lung machine. There is much fun and laughter to be found in this museum. Among the products of the company are a number of costumes from fraternal organizations, some of which were new to us. All in all, we had an enjoyable visit to the Museum (and to Greenville) and highly recommend this museum.” — Brian Rountree / Masonic Library Museum Association
